What a huge honor to take the stage at the Honolulu Civil Beat Storytellers event last week. It was held at the Hawaiian Studies building at the University of Hawaii surrounded by all this beautiful nature including a running stream. Thank you to Jeff Brewer for working with me to put my story together and thank you to everyone who laughed, who clapped before I was finished, and who came up to me after the event to share their story or just give me a vote of confidence that I did ok. This is my new life purpose so every little bit helps.
